Zayne

Zayne is a new fresh talent in Finland’s fast growing Rock scene. Their Music is a versatile mix of sensitive melodies spiced by unique vocals with crushing peculiar sound and smashing live appearance.

The story began at the end of 2003. A young productive singer Miro Kanth had recorded the past summer his first demo song at school. It soon spread a word among his friends and all over the internet. But Instead of making music on his own Miro, born to rock, wanted to join a band where he could share his musical capabilities. Answer was soon to be found.
A group from Hämeenlinna was desperetely seeking a vocalist and Miro took the place. Zayne was born.

First appearance was in december of 2003. Band had a warm welcome and it inspired them to continue live acts and make their own evolving music.
2004 band made several gigs around the southern parts of Finland until at the beginning of 2005 they recorded their first demo with Lauri Malin.
It received surprisingly positive feedback which led to a victory of YleX’s Demo competition and concerts with great bands as Uniklubi, Apulanta, Poets of the Fall etc. The next two years was unfortunately wasted because of Miro’s militar service and band’ suffered a serious setback.

2008 Zayne is revived. They record their first official EP “Say Goodbye” with well known producer Hiili Hiilesmaa and Miro’s brother Konko takes place on the bass. Now with the new line up and fresh unique sound Miro, Juho, Esa and Konko are starting to built a promising future and conquer the world of rock’n’roll!
